Product Introduction
Inconel 625 strip is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium-based alloy strip with excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, and is widely used in the field of marine engineering. Its main components include nickel (about 58%), chromium (20-23%), molybdenum (8-10%) and niobium (3.15-4.15%), which give it excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. The application of Inconel 625 strip in marine engineering includes heat exchangers and piping systems for desalination equipment, supporting structures for offshore platforms, propulsion systems for ships and submarines, turbine blades for marine energy development equipment, and submarine cables. It has a density of 8.4 g/cm³, a melting point between 1290-1350°C, and is able to maintain good mechanical properties in the wall temperature range of -196°C to 450°C. In addition, Inconel 625 strip also has good processability and weldability, no post-weld cracking sensitivity, and meets the highest standard of Class VII for sour gas environment use in accordance with NACE certification (MR-01-75). These characteristics make it an ideal choice for marine engineering, ensuring long-term and stable operation of equipment in harsh marine environments.
