Product Introduction
Inconel 718 strip is a high-performance nickel-chromium-iron-based precipitation-hardened alloy strip with a wide range of applications in cryogenic engineering. The alloy performs well in the temperature range of -253°C to 700°C, with high strength, good toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. Its main components include nickel (about 50%-55%), chromium (17%-21%), niobium (4.75%-5.5%), molybdenum (2.8%-3.3%), etc., which enable it to maintain stable mechanical properties in cryogenic environments. The density of Inconel 718 strip is about 8.19 g/cm³, the melting point is between 1260-1330°C, the tensile strength is about 1400 MPa at room temperature, the yield strength is about 1150 MPa, and the ductility is about 25%. In cryogenic engineering, Inconel 718 strip is often used to manufacture cryogenic storage containers such as liquid nitrogen and liquid hydrogen, as well as structural parts that need to work under extreme low temperature conditions.
