Product Description and Application
Monel 400 is also known as UNS N04400,NCu30, W.N,2.4360, Alloy400, Noo4400, NCU30-LC
Monel 400 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to fluorine gas, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and their compounds. At the same time, it is more resistant to corrosion in the sea than copper-based alloys. Monel400 is resistant to corrosion in hydrochloric acid with a concentration of less than 85%. Monel400 is one of the main raw materials in hydrochloric acid. Monel400 alloy is not only corrosion-resistant, but also less porous corrosion, intergranular corrosion and so on. The corrosion rate is lower than 0.025mm/a. Monel400 in the air continuous operation temperature is generally around 600℃ and the corrosion rate is less than 0.026mm/a. in high temperature vapor.
Because of the high nickel composition of Monel400 alloy, it can withstand the corrosion of aqueous ammonia and ammonolysis standard below 585℃,which can manufacture all kinds of parts with complex shapes and has been widely used in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industry and extrusion mold in the above temperature range.
