Iron Nickel Cobalt Alloy Wire 4J29 Kovar Wire Precision Alloy Wire With Good Weldability
Product Introduction
Nimonic 90 Wire is a high performance nickel-based high temperature alloy wire with excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance. This alloy is mainly composed of elements such as nickel, chromium, and cobalt, and an appropriate amount of titanium and aluminum are added as strengthening elements. It achieves aging strengthening by forming intermetallic compounds, thereby significantly improving the overall performance of the alloy. Nimonic 90 Wire is capable of operating stably at temperatures up to 920°C (1688°F), maintaining good mechanical properties and creep resistance, while also offering excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Its density is generally between 8.1 - 8.3 g/cm³, its melting point is approximately between 1300℃ - 1350℃, it has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and can maintain dimensional stability in high temperature environments.

Q&A
What is Nimonic 90 Wire made of?
Nimonic 90 Wire is an age-hardened nickel-based deformable high-temperature alloy with a high cobalt content and a variety of strengthening elements, suitable for applications in high-temperature environments.
What is the corrosion resistance of Nimonic 90 Wire?
Nimonic 90 Wire performs well in high-temperature oxidizing environments. Due to the presence of chromium, the chromium oxide protective film formed on the surface of the alloy can resist oxidation at high temperatures. In gas environments containing corrosive elements such as sulfur, the alloy also has a certain degree of corrosion resistance.
What are the main application areas of Nimonic 90 Wire?
Nimonic 90 Wire is widely used in aerospace, gas turbines, petrochemicals and other fields, such as turbine blades, turbine discs, high-temperature fasteners, clamps, seals and elastic elements.
What is the processing performance of Nimonic 90 Wire?
Nimonic 90 Wire has good processing performance and can be processed by conventional mechanical processing methods such as turning, milling, drilling, etc.
