Low Electric Resistance CuNi6 Cuprothal 60 Copper Nickel Alloy CuNi Wire 8.9g/Cm3 for Electronic and electrical fields
Product Introduction
CuNi1 wire (NC003) is a copper-nickel resistance alloy wire, mainly composed of copper and 1% nickel. It has excellent resistance characteristics, high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance, stable resistivity, low temperature coefficient, and is suitable for high-precision resistors and applications that require precise control of resistance values. In addition, CuNi1 wire has excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, allowing it to maintain good electrical properties even in harsh environments.
The formability of CuNi1 wire is better at high temperatures, and its plasticity can be improved by optimizing the heat treatment process. It also has good weldability and can be connected using a variety of welding methods. These characteristics make CuNi1 wire an ideal material choice in the electronic and electrical fields, such as the manufacture of resistor elements, thermocouples, and precision electronic components.

Specific Applications
- Electronic field: It can be used to manufacture high-precision resistor elements, such as precision resistors, sampling resistors, etc. Its resistivity is high and stable, its temperature coefficient is low, and its resistance changes little with temperature. It can meet the strict requirements of electronic equipment for resistance accuracy and stability, and ensure the normal operation and measurement accuracy of the equipment. It can also be used to make thermocouples for temperature measurement and control, especially for occasions requiring high-precision temperature measurement.
- Electrical field: It is suitable for manufacturing low-resistance resistor elements, which can be used in electrical equipment such as current sampling and shunts, and can accurately measure and control current to ensure the stable operation of the electrical system.
- Marine engineering: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, especially its outstanding corrosion resistance in seawater, it can be used to manufacture resistor elements, sensors, etc. in marine engineering equipment, such as navigation systems of ships, marine monitoring equipment, etc., and can work stably for a long time in harsh marine environments.
- Chemical equipment: In the chemical field, it can be used to manufacture equipment parts that come into contact with corrosive media, such as resistor elements and connectors in pipes, valves, pumps, etc., which can resist the corrosion of chemical media and extend the service life of the equipment.
Advantages and Characteristics
- Excellent resistance characteristics: The addition of nickel significantly increases the resistivity of the alloy, making it higher than pure copper, and the resistance changes less with temperature, that is, the temperature coefficient is low, and it can remain relatively stable at different temperatures. Resistance value, suitable for the manufacture of high-precision resistor components.
- Strong corrosion resistance: It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in various corrosive media, especially in harsh environments such as seawater. It can effectively resist corrosion and oxidation, extend the service life of the material and reduce maintenance costs.
- Good mechanical properties: It has high tensile strength and good ductility, can withstand large loads without breaking easily, and has moderate hardness and good wear resistance, making it suitable for use in high temperature and high pressure environments.
