Manufacturing Resistance Wires 99.6% Ni200 Pure Nickel Wire With Higher Thermal Conductivity
Product Introduction
Ni200 pure nickel wire is a filamentous material made of high-purity (99.6%) nickel, with excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content, and low vapor pressure. In its chemical composition, the content of nickel (with cobalt added) is as high as 99.0%, while the content of other elements such as copper, iron, manganese, carbon, silicon, and sulfur is controlled within an extremely low range. The physical properties of Ni200 pure nickel wire include a density of 8.89 g/cm ³, a melting point of 1435-1446 ° C, an expansion coefficient of 13.2 μ m/m · ℃ at 100 ° C, a thermal conductivity of 73.4 W/m · ℃ at 100 ° C, and a resistance coefficient of 0.125 μ Ω· m at 100 ° C.

Q&A
Q1: What is the difference between Ni200 pure nickel wire and Ni201 pure nickel wire?
A1: Ni200 and Ni201 are both high-purity nickel materials, but Ni201 has a lower carbon content (up to 0.02%), making it more suitable for use in high-temperature environments above 315 ° C. Ni200 has a maximum carbon content of 0.15% and is suitable for environments below 315 ° C.
Q2: What are the problems with Ni200 pure nickel wire at high temperatures?
A2: Ni200 pure nickel wire may undergo graphitization at temperatures above 315 ° C, resulting in severe performance damage. Therefore, for applications that require use at temperatures above 315 ° C, Ni201 is more recommended.
Q3: What is the processing performance of Ni200 pure nickel wire?
A3: Ni200 pure nickel alloy has excellent ductility and toughness, making it easy to process and shape. It can change the grain structure and shape of alloys through cold and hot processing, increase strength and hardness, and improve the mechanical properties of materials.
